Dr. Check

Jerome Check, M.D. Ph.D.

Dr. Check is board certified in endocrinology and metabolism. Dr. Check continues to spread his intelligence as a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Division Head of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. For over 33 years, Dr. Check has held the position of Medical Director of Cooper Center for In Vitro Fertilization. He has been a pioneer in many areas of infertility, including developing a simplified freezing of embryos protocol, leading to higher pregnancy rates then the standard protocol; use of assisted embryo hatching of frozen thawed embryos, further increasing pregnancy rates and reversing decreased egg reserve by restoring FSH receptors, to name just a few. Dr. Check completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and he graduated from Hahnemann Medical School in 1971; in addition, served his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinolofy and Infertility at Thomas Jefferson University School of Medicine. In 1997 Dr.Check received his Ph.D in Reproductive Biology. With over 800 publications in peer review journals, in areas such as Assisted Reproduction Technologies, Premature Ovarian Failure, Cancer Immunology and the use of unique treatments in many chronic disorders, Dr.Check is widely accomplished . Dr. Choe

Dr. Jung Choe, MD

Dr. Choe is a board certified reproductive endocrinologist in our Mt. Laurel, NJ office. Acknowledging over 40 years of total practice, Dr. Choe has been part of our practice for over 20 years. Dr. Choe is a proudly supported alumni of Ewha Womans University, School Of Medicine in 1971; in addition, completed a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fellowship at the University of Illinois.

Dr. Sobel

Michael Sobel, DO

Dr. Sobel is a board certified REI who joined Cooper Institute for Reproductive and Hormonal Disorders in January of 2021. He attended medical school at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in 1984. After completing his Obstetrics & Gynecology residency at the Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, he did a clinical and research fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology, at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
After his fellowship, Dr. Sobel remained on staff at Jefferson, as an Assistant Professor, in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology. He most recently was part of a Reproductive Medicine group in the Philadelphia metro area. He has been practicing and teaching in the Reproductive Medicine field over 30 years. He has published in peer review journals, as well as been invited to give lectures to his colleagues. He was recognized and awarded the title of Distinguished Fellow by the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologist in 2010.
